Review: Drag me to Hell

Another post! Well this is about hte movie drag me to hell. Saw this last Wednesday with my mom. Won’t tell much of it since there isn’t anything great about it. Some sound effects are just too loud which would surprise you. Other than that it isn’t scary at all. The plot doesn’t seem fair too. Just because the old lady didn’t get another loan doesn’t mean that her curse should work. If that’s the case then the banks would give loans readily. Unlike the little introduction which happened at the start of the movie, the lead girl (I forgot her name already) didn’t steal or anything. True that the old woman was shamed but she herself was the one who caused it -she is really freaky. I’m so thankful that the tickets we got for the movie was complimentary. ^^

flu scare

Now that I don’t have classes, staying at home is becoming quite a bore. I am enjoying playing Sims3 now though but still. I don’t want my term break to disappear after this school term. My greatest fear is that once class starts and everything ends up being extended there won’t be any break afterwards all the stress. That is when it is even important to have a little break, which is one week rather than having none at all. See what I mean? After this term the next term would begin without having any rest in between. *sobs* I am hoping that the school won’t cancel the term break because of the flu and from what I’ve heard so far there are around 13 students from our school who already has the H1N1 virus.

extended vacation

I don’t have school from yesterday,Thursday to the whole of next week. In a way it is great and scary at the same time because some student in school got the H1N1. Reports from yesterday mentioned that so far that another student got it (those two are probably seatmates) @.@ Aside from this I’m afraid that our term break would be less than a week since the term would be extended due to the quarantining of our school(?). Well, students, faculty and the other school staff have to stay at home and monitor their health. What a scary extended vacation. >…………<;;;

Once again school starts. It’s back to all those studying and researching. Just a little more and it’ll be over soon-for me that is. Only have this term and another for thesis then it will be my time join the workforce. With the recession and cost-cutting (because of recession and other factors), it makes me wonder if i’ll get the job that I want. So far, I don’t even know what I want. I have an idea but I’m still not so sure. These things do take time but after a couple of years in college I still don’t know if this is what I really want. One cannot foresee the future but I want to be sure that the choices I make now is something that I won’t regret. Well… regret is something that always happens after an event and not before. x.X;

Holy Week’s done and school is done. Time to sit down, relax and play… neopets. Somehow I’m addicted to it once again. I used to play this more than five years ago too. Well I gues that’s that. I’m going to resume playing. For those who have free time maybe you can try this online game/community.

heart-filled month

Yep it’s almost Feb 14 and everyone knows what that it. Valentine’s. Since the day falls on Saturday, it will be a really difficult to move around the city. Most couples would be here there and everywhere most especially the malls. Other than that, things that can be given as gifts to their significant other (which is almost everything these days and not only chocolates and flowers) are expensive. Obviously, they are taking advantage of the season. There is no particular reason as to why I’m blogging about this. It’s just that I feel that this weekend would really be crowded -high foot and transportation traffic near malls and shopping centers. Yes I can see it now.

Not part of the topic but these I feel like shopping… I wanted to buy something which I have no idea as to what yet. x.X; Good thing that it’s Valentine’s I guess since I would be discouraged from going to malls which, as I said earlier will be crowded.

back to the way it was

Just when I was starting to enjoy the cool weather it is starting to return to normal now. Reports say that the weather is supposed to be cool until the and of February. -.- The month hasn’t started yet and now it’s back to the usual hot climate. It’s such a shame though. I was starting to use my long sleeve tops, which are limited to less than 5 pieces and it suddenly became hot. So much for being able to use it. Also, I wasn’t able to wear my black boots. T.T Finally got one after all these years too. T.T

global warming

The weather these days is so weird here. Before December it was really hot and now it is really cold. We rarely experience such weather here and I think this is the coldest that we have since… forever. The good thing about it is that I get to use my new scarf which I got as a gift and my two new boots. Lolies I better use these often while it is still cool here. I just hope that when it becomes warm here again it wouldn’t be really hot. I’m not used to the cool weather but I prefer it more than the warm weather. ^^

Oh yeah, I know its late but it’s now back to school again. This is already the second week and what’s great about it that we don’t have much workload yet. Haha More time to relax now and its back to reading mangas again. <3

in with the new and out with the old

Just a couple of days left until the New Year. As usual, family time again! We don’t watch as much fireworks compared to before. It’s fine by me since I’m not a fan of loud noises. I just like the nice fireworks like the one shown in the Beijing Olympics a couple of months ago. Aside from this, family dinners are also great where I get to chat with my relatives. Of course I’ll get to see my two little cousins. ^^

Like Christmas, what I hate during new year is that I tend to binge like there’s no tomorrow. X.X Goodness gracious I need to lose weight. I gained more than five pounds in just a few days. That is just because of our Christmas dinner. I’ll gain more after New Year. T.T Which brings me to the resolution for year 2009. Like most people I doubt that I’ll be able to do my resolutions. More or less it won’t even last the first month. So I think that might as well make little promises than the big ones that seems to be impossible to maintain. After the weight gain at the end of this year, I might as well lose what I gained as a start and maintain my usual weight -even if I wanted to lose more. No point in trying to lose 10 pounds at once and then stop and gain it again in the end. After all, there are other holidays in between. Hmm… I can’t think of any other resolutions. Perhaps shop less and study more. Oh well I can make resolutions in between if I’m able to think of one. Haha Happy Holidays!

Oh yeah I almost forgot. I need to finish the second book of Twilight… New Moon is the title -I think. Already started it so might as well finish it… even if I don’t like it. Going to read it since there isn’t a new Bleach chapter yet in onemanga. Better read than do nothing at home. Burn some calories. Lolies

Christmas is only 4 days away. I am not much of a Christmas person but I still enjoy the holiday because of the gifts and being able to do nothing. It’s not exactly doing nothing but it’s more of there are no deadlines therefore no or less stress. ^^

Anyway, made a new page which is pretty much the things that I want for Christmas. Haha Hopefully my very own Jolly old St Nick would give me some. *wink wink* …even if I’m not that good this year. Lolies
